    Privacy and Personal Data

Privacy is the right to a private life and the right to control one's own personal data. Personal data refers to information and assessments that can be linked to an individual, such as name, place of residence, phone number, email address, IP address, or a combination of these that allows for identification of the individual behind the data.

    Processing of Personal Data

Any use of personal data is considered processing of personal data. This includes, for example, collection, registration, compilation, storage, and disclosure, or any combination of these actions.

Færd is the data controller for the personal data we collect and process from employees and our clients. Being the data controller means we are responsible for and subject to obligations under the Personal Data Act.

We process personal data as an employer, as a provider of consultancy services, and in connection with visits to our website, fard.no.

Færd processes personal data related to personnel administration, including personal details, salary information, notes from performance reviews, information about guardians, medical history, etc. Personal data connected to personnel administration is stored during the employment period and deleted two years after the employment ends, or earlier upon request.

Other data we process includes contact information about clients and suppliers, including names of contact persons, email addresses, phone numbers, and job titles. We will not retain personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing and to comply with legal obligations, such as accounting laws.

    Newsletter

Our newsletters contain tips and advice, seminar invitations, and other relevant information. We never share your information with others. The information is deleted when we are informed that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter. The data is also deleted if we receive a bounce-back indicating that the email address is no longer active. In connection with our newsletters, we collect email addresses. This is mandatory. You can choose whether to provide your name and company.

We use HubSpot for distributing newsletters. In connection with distributions, we track usage statistics, including how many people read the newsletter and what they read. We do this to ensure we provide the most relevant content for our readers.

    Cookies

We collect information about visitors to our website through the use of cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and HubSpot’s analytics tool. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by the website you visit. It includes information such as which pages were visited on the site. Read more about our use of cookies here.

    Project Work

In our project work, Færd acts as a data processor, while the client is the data controller. In some cases, Færd processes trade secrets or sensitive personal data. Such information may include data from surveys, databases with customer information, details about customer strategies, or meeting notes.

    Updating Information

It is important that the information we have about our employees, clients, and suppliers is correct and up to date. If you discover any inaccuracies, we encourage you to contact us so that the information can be corrected. You can also contact us if you wish to have information deleted.

Færd uses Tripletex, a complete web-based financial system with project and time tracking, invoicing, and accounting. In Norway, Tripletex stores all data with Basefarm. Backup is stored with Amazon Web Services in Ireland. Tripletex Privacy Policy: https://www.tripletex.no/personvernerklaering/
